Nothing in this app is medical advice. You should speak to your doctor about diet changes, supplements and medication interactions and exercise. This app does not know your medical history, your health or your habits.
For optimal health, talk to your physician before beginning ANY weight loss or exercise program.
This policy is written in plain English on purpose. These are design rules we built the app around, not fine print.
What the app stores
The app stores your journal for YOU. This allows you to open your app on any device (phone, computer, tablet) without ever losing your information. It allows you to keep all your information if you upgrade your phone or get a new tablet or computer. We intentionally do not ask for any identifying information from you.
App storage is on your device and mirrored to our private cloud database (Supabase) precisely so you never lose your journal and history. (Supabase is a host, not a data broker, and they cannot read our database.)
Your account is private to you and cannot be seen by any other account.
Storing your journal allows you to print out a detailed report for your doctor or to download the information for your own use.
The food calculator
All food calculations for your account are never stored. We have our own custom databases and do not rely on crowd sourced information, because crowd sourced information is often inaccurate.
Our guarantee
Your personal privacy is our top priority, and we do not sell, rent, loan, or give your personal information to anyone.

Payments
Payments for purchases go through app stores and Stripe — we never see or hold your card details.
Your journal
Our server keeps your last 6 months of daily pages and weekly summaries (based on the calendar) plus the quarter you're in right now. If you wish to keep this information longer, just download it to your device as a PDF.
If you cancel your subscription, or it lapses, the last 3 months of weekly summaries and all your yearly summaries remain for 12 months from your last paid day. After that, the account is entirely and permanently deleted, so re-subscribing after 12 months requires a whole new account, without any history.
Accounts created that never subscribe are deleted after 12 months.
Deleting your data
When you cancel your subscription, you will have the option to delete all your data at that time — choose yes or no. Yes is permanent immediate deletion (after confirmation) and No means your records as described above are stored for a maximum of 12 months.
If you delete your account for any reason, you will need to start with a new account with no history.
Deleting the app from your device removes only the copy on that device. Your account and journal stay on our server, and signing in again brings them back.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. The promise at the top of this page is not going to change.
